Henry Wilson
Detroit (1948)
Henry Wilson studied art in Chicago. He initially painted figurative, mostly portraits and models. Gradually his works became more abstract, being inspired by the works of Jackson Pollock and contemporaries.
Wilson worked and exposed in Ashville, Miami, Vienna, Abu Dhabi, Bilbao and Madrid. His “Tribute to Pollock”, an oil drip painting of 400 x 600 cm (157 x 236 inches) was exposed in Bangkok and bought by an Arabian investment group.
